The potential development of meat processing community for the Management System Standard of local community products. A Case Study of baan najarn Meat processing group meuang district kalasin province
Abstract:
The purposes of this research are 1) to study the potential development of meat processing community of Baan Najan, Muang District, Kalasin for the Management System Standard of local community products in 5 categories, including accounting and financial management, marketing and customer organization, group and member organization, manufacture organization and support, and the improvement and development of community business to sustainability. 2) to reach the standard of the management system of local community products. According to the potential development of meat processing community, it is the study based on qualitative method using observation and in-depth interview. 26 members from community enterprise groups were selected by using a purposive sampling and focus group discussion methods in order to investigate the potential development of community enterprise groups. The researcher used PESTLE analysis, SWOT analysis, percentage, content analysis, and descriptive analysis.
The study found that
1. The potential of meat processing community of Baan Najan, Muang District, Kalasin reaches the standard of the management system of local community products. In addition, they have the potentials in every degree of organization which are in manufacturing, finance, marketing, personnel, and participation. The problems and obstructions of these community enterprise groups are found in manufactor, especially in the materials using in production that are not sufficient for manufacturing and also the equipment and machines that are still not up-to-date.
2. The form of the standard of the management system of local community products of Baan Najan, Muang District, Kalasin shows that they have the availability to enter to the management system of local community products because the community enterprise groups have the availability and the system management such as on the document or evidence management, the performance conforming to the system, and the constant improvement and development. The groups divided the system management into 5 categories which are 1) accounting and financial management, 2) marketing and customer organization, 3) group and member organization, 4) manufacturing and service organization, and 5) the improvement and development of community business to sustainability
