Abstract:
The purposes of this research were : (1) to study the opinions of the administrators and teachers on school decentralized educational management in Khao Phanom District schools under Krabi Primary Education Service Area and (2) to compare the opinions of the administrators and teachers on the level of decentralization of educational administration classified by personnel rank.The population of this study consisted of 81 administrators and 200 teachers, a total of 281.The sample of this study included 47 administrators and 115 teachers, a total of 162, selected by stratified random sampling. The instrument employed in this research was a five-point rating scale questionnaire with the reliability at 80. The statistics used for analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t - test (independent).The results of the study were:1.Overall the level of the administrators and teachers opinions on the decentralized management of education in the schools of the school district of Phanom, Elementary Education City was at a high level ( = 4.32, S.D. = 0.19). Considering each aspect, it was found that the level of the opinions of the administrators and teachers on the school decentralized educational management of the stated schools was at a high level according to the following order of priority : general management ( = 4.38, S.D. = 0.23), academic management ( = 4.32, S.D. = 0.28) and budget management ( = 4.29, S.D. = 0.26).2.The result of the comparison of the level of the opinions of the administrators and teachers on the decentralization of the educational administration in the schools in Khao Phanom District, Krabi Province, indicated that, in overall and each aspects, there were significant differences at the level of .05.
