Abstract:
The purposes of this special problem were 1) to develop the engineering books guidance system by using natural language technique, 2) to evaluate the guidance system efficiency, 3) to evaluate the satisfactory of the users to the system. Therefore, the system is developed as web application which is used PHP programming language and MySQL as a database management. The performance and the satisfactory of the system were tested by experts and general users. The result shows that the system provides 98.72 percent accurate, which is not less than the set up accuracy threshold of 97.5 percentages. The overall satisfaction of the system tested by 5 experts and 50 general users was in the most satisfied level, the mean score was 4.53 and the standard deviation score was 0.507. From testing, the result indicated that the developed system had the most efficiency. In addition, it can be efficiently applied for the engineering books guidance system.
