A Study of transformational leadership in the Asean Era on theopinion of the teachers in private secondary schools under Nonthaburi educational primary district 2 areas
Abstract:
This survey research aimed to 1) Study the level of the transformational leadership of the private secondary schools administrators in the ASEAN era. 2) Compare the reality of leadership and the expectation of teachers. 3) study problems, and suggestions of the respondents.
The sample consisted of 230 selected by proportional sampling were frequency, average (X),
f private teachers in Nonthaburi region 2. They were selected by proportional sampling. The tools used were 5 scale questionnaires. The statistics used were frequency, average (x̅ ), standard deviation (SD) and t-test.
The study found that:
The level of the administrators' transformational leadership were rated at the high
level for all 4 aspects. For the reality leadership were inspirational motivation, idealized influence, individualized consideration and intellectual stimulation respectively. For expectation of teachers were idealized influence, inspirational motivation, individualized consideration and intellectual stimulation respectively.
2) The comparison of administrators' transformational leadership between the reality leadership and the expectation of teachers were statistically significant level of .05 3) The important problem was the injustice of the executives or management.
4) The remarkable suggestion was the administrators should have up to date on academic matters.
