STATE AND PROBLEMS OF IMPLEMENTATION ON BASIC EDUCATION CORE CURRICULUM B.E.2551 OF PROTOTYPE SCHOOLS UNDER NAKHON PHANOM EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE
Abstract:
ABSTRACT
The purposes of this study were to investigate the state and problems of implementation on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 of prototype schools under Nakhon Phanom Educational Service Area Office by the acknowledgement of school administrators and teachers classified by positions and levels of education provided at schools. The samples of this study consisted of165 people; 60 school administrators and 105 teachers derived from multi-stage sampling. The instruments of the study were the researcher-made questionnaires; the aspect of implementation state on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 with discrimination values between 0.33 - 0.78 and the reliability coefficient of 0.96, and the aspect of problems of implementation on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 with discrimination values between 0.43 - 0.84 and the reliability coefficient of 0.90. The statistics employed in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and analysis of variance with One-way ANOVA.
The results of this research were as follows:
1. The state of implementation on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 of prototype schools under Nakhon Phanom Educational Service Area Office; in all aspects were at the high level.
2. Problems of implementation on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 of prototype schools under Nakhon Phanom Educational Service Area Office; in all aspects were at the low level.
3. The state of implementation on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 of prototype schools under Nakhon Phanom Educational Service Area Office; in opinions of school administrators and teachers were not different.
4. Problems of implementation on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 of prototype schools under Nakhon Phanom Educational Service Area Office; in opinions of school administrators and teachers were not different.
5. The state of implementation on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 of prototype schools under Nakhon Phanom Educational Service Area Office; in opinions of school administrators and teachers in the different levels of education provided at schools were not different.

7. This research suggested the guidelines for upgrading the implementation of the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E.2551 of prototype schools under Nakhon Phanom Educational Service Area Office consisted of the curriculum management in schools, curriculum improvement to suit local conditions, making lesson plans, supervision and follow-up activities of the implementation on the curriculum, setting up the academic center for supporting and promoting the curriculum implementation and the personnel preparation, the management and service on curriculumrelated materials, and teaching and learning measurement and evaluation.
