Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to 1) develop the measurement of Teacher Shared
Value Test 2) to develop and test validity of the linear structural equation model of work
engagement of teachers in the areas 3) to generate a supportive theoretical which explain
supporting factors which effected to personally engagement, on professional teaching training and
teachers in insurgency area 4) to study the efficiency of engagement activities program enhance
professional teaching training, which divided the research in 4 stages following the objectives.
The sample of the first stage of the research consisted 877 teachers, who performed their duty and
stand fast until unrest situation occurred and did not desire to move themselves out of the areas.
Sample size of the second stage is 1,266 teachers in these areas. For the third stage, consisted 4
case study of teachers and 2 case study of students on professional teaching training (which are
effected from the insurgent attacking). The sample size for the fourth stage consisted 15 students
on professional teaching training at Phoekeereerajsuksa School, Koke Phoe District, Pattani
Province. Analytical for descriptive statistic using The Statistical Software Package for Research,
and LISREL 8.72 were use for the confirmatory factor analysis and to test the concordance of
hypothetic model
The major findings were: 1) the share value model was concordant with the empirical data
in a good criteria or high construct validity with its nineteen factors, which was confirmed by
LISREL (Chi-square = 114.62, p = 0.06364, df = 93, AGFI = 0.972, RMR = 0.0174). For the
second order of CFA found that factor loadings of four latent variables having statistically
significant at 0.05, following by FGD, ETIC, TEAMWINS and CREATIVE having factor loading at 0.38, 0.37, 0.36 and 0.27 2) the linear structural equation model of work engagement
was concordant with the empirical data in a good criteria or high validity (Chi-square = 122.81, p
= 0.069, df = 101, GFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.98). All endogenous variables altogether described the
variation of work engagement was equal to 58%. 3) Factors supporting work engagement of
teachers in the areas concerns to 5 dimensions, which are individuals psychological
characteristics, psychological supported, relationship in work place and physical supported. 4) the
psychological sufficiency and work engagement program for students on professional teaching
training have effectiveness, the result after experiment on effectiveness of the activities revealed
that the scores on psychological sufficiency and work engagement of the experimental group
were statistical significantly increased at level .05, which not difference highly scores between
after experimental stage and follow up stage and both stages having higher score more than
before experimental stage. For the control group, the scores between before and after
experimental stage have not difference at statistical significantly level .05.
