Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the management of fitness center in public higher education institutes in Bangkok metropolis in term of resource management, management process and satisfaction of the users service in the fitness. The questionnaire was used to acquire data and choose specific of purposive sampling from the sample group of 53 persons from providers of fitness and 402 users who used to acquire data and choose specific of accidental sampling as well as 16 persons from the administrator of fitness center were interviewed. Collected data were analyzed statistically using frequency, mean, standard deviation and One-way ANOVA (F-test). Then the differences were analyzed in pairs by using Scheffe Method. Results 1. The management of fitness center of public higher education institutes in Bangkok metropolis in term of resource management and management process were in good level. 2. The satisfaction of user at fitness center of public higher education institutes in Bangkok metropolis were in good level. 3. The satisfaction of the users were found significantly different at .05 level between Public universities, Rajamangala universities, Autonomous universities, Rajabhat universities and Open university.
