Abstract:
This study aimed to study (1) the general data of people and their needs. (2) To study an Agricultural
Vocational Training need and to find the supportive factors of this careers. (3) To find the trend developing
the quality of life by educating particular skills knowledge and increasing family income including
the increasing of sustainable development which can be lived in a community peacefully and happy. The
sampling was used 331 peoples who live in Thumbon TanYong Li-Mo, Ra-ngae district, Narathiwat Province.
The study found that, the most population were interested in vocational training were male, the average
of age was 38.4 years, marriage status and educational levels was primary school, there were from of 3-5
persons of family member with working age of 18-60 years old . There were 3-4 interested in Agricultural
training and were mostly interested in the field of paddy planting followed by local chicken farms, vegetable,
organic fertilizer production, goat production and beef production, respectively. The moderate careers were
bakery cooking and rubber budding. The most supported factors to improve their careers were land and money,
but the fundamental materials and machines they need in the secondary level. However, they suggested 1-1.30
acres (such as 2-3 rai ) of the land per family to use for planting and animal raising, marketing and vocational
training. For the suggestion of the researchers pointed that, there should have studied the quality of curriculum
model which is really complied to communitys need, and the local people in the area should have the role of
participation in analyzing and determining the ways of careers development such as increasing of the highest
productivity of owner land, looking for the new area by grouping people, collected capital, and effective operated
farming and several activities for increasing their family income to response the higher cost of living and
building peace in the area to impact the mechanical product and marketing growth in this area as to build the
strength of this community for their sustainable and prosper development.
