Abstract:
This study was an experimental research. The purposes of this study were to develop
a Web-Based Instruction with Video Demonstration (WBI-VD) on Word Processing,
Computer at Work (2001-0001), and to compare the students effectiveness before
and after using the developed WBI-VD. This WBI-VD was used to help teachers
to demonstrate the usage of word processing to each students that teacher could not
monitor, guide and demonstrate directly. This WBI-VD consisted of video
demonstration and interactive practices. The sampling group, selected by purposive
sampling , was 30 first year students who registered in 2nd semester of academic year
2010 in the vocational certificate level in Hospitality Department, Kanchanaburi
Vocational College.
The research tools were the developed WBI-VD, pretest, posttest and
questionnaires. The results showed that: 1) the efficiency of the developed WBI-VD
was 85.76/84.29, higher than 80/80 as in the hypothesis. 2) the students
effectiveness after using the WBI-VD was significantly higher than before using it at
.01.In conclusion, we can used this WBI-VD to help teacher to solve the problems
that mentioned above as well
