The development and efficiency validation of integrated instruction package of principle sensors and its application on industrial electronics in vocational certificate curriculum
Abstract:
This research aims to develop an integrated instruction package, validate the packages
efficiency, compare average pre-test and post-test scores, and study student satisfaction on
principle sensors and its application, Industrial Electronics Course, Vocational Certificate
Curriculum.
With regard to the research method, the researcher developed an integrated instruction
package consisting of teacher manual, teaching media, post test and achievement test. Wit the
purposive sampling method, the samples, a total of 25, were the second-year students of
Electronics Program, Vocational Certificate Curriculum, studying Industrial Electronics Course in
the first semester, the academic year 2010. The samples conducted pre-test, post-test and
achievement test. Package efficiency was calculated and study progress was analyzed with t-test.
Student satisfaction on the package was studied by questionnaires.
The research results revealed that the efficiency of the instruction package was at
83.27/83.28, higher than criteria at 80/80. From study progress analysis, pre-test and post-test
scores were different at the significant level of .05. The student satisfaction on the instruction
package was at the high level.
