Abstract:
This research studied the properties of fresh concrete containing palm oil fuel ash (POFA) conducting
from Nikhom Bacho, Bacho district in Narathiwat province. The POFA was used to partially replace
Portland cement type I at the rates of 0, 10, 20 and 30 by weight of binder and water to binder ratio
was 062 for mixing the concrete. The properties of fresh concrete such as slump, bleeding, and setting
time were investigated. The results showed that the of POFA to partially replace cement in the concrete
resulted in decreasing in slump, increasing in bleeding, and a period of setting time of the concrete was
longer when compared with those of the control concrete
