Abstract:
The purposes of the research were : 1) To find out the level of work cooperation before and after treatment and compare work cooperation of employees before and after the experiment. 2) To compare work cooperation of employees who did experiment and did not, before and after the experiment. (3) To compare work cooperation of employees evaluated by supervisors in the experimental and the control group before and after the experiment. (4) To compare work cooperation of employees evaluated by supervisors and employees themselves before and after the experiment. and (5) To compare work cooperation by personal characteristics and play games characteristics before and after the experiment. Population were 36 people of Fresh Meat Processing Co., Ltd. The experiments were divided into two groups: experimental group was 24 people of maintenance and procurement of raw materials section, control group was 12 people of warehouse section. Evaluation was done by two supervisors from each group (All became six persons) and employees themselves. Tools composes of : 1) Questionnaire of personal data and work cooperation 2) Desktop and notebook computers with the Counter-strike game and installed Local Area Network (Lan). The statistics used percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. The research found that before the experiment, either experimental group or control groups showed a moderate level of work cooperation but after the experiment, the experimental group expressed a high level of work cooperation while the control group still had a moderate level. The results of hypotheses testing could be demonstrated as follows : (1) Before and after the experiment, the experimental group showed different work cooperation at statistical significant level of .000 while the control group did not show any significant difference. (2) The experimental group and the control group had different work cooperation with a statistical significant level of .000 (3) Work cooperation which was evaluated by supervisors either before and after experiment showed difference in the experimental group at a statistical significant level of .000, but it did not show any significant difference in the control group. (4) Before and after the experiment, work cooperation which was evaluated by supervisors and employees of both groups showed difference at a statistical significant level of .02 and .03, respectively. (5) Before the experiment, employees with different personal characteristics such as years of work, education, marital status, employment types and job characteristics had different work cooperation at a statistical significant level of .003, .003, .000, .000 and .001, respectively. But after the experiment, employees with different personal characteristics such as years of work, education and job characteristics had different work cooperation at a statistical significant level of .038, .025 and .000 respectively. Before the experiment, employees with different numbers of game players had different work cooperation at a statistical significant level of .003. After the experiment, employees who were the most favorite in Counter-strike game and had a chance to play it, and employees who were the most favorite in Counter-strike game but did not have any chance to play it had different work cooperation at a statistical significant level of .022.
