Abstract:
The research aimed to analyze confirmative factors of the teacher ethical conduct under Ubon Ratchathani Non-formal and In-formal Education Office. The samples used in the research were 220 teachers teaching in the non-formal education at Tambon level, derived by a stratified random sampling. The research instrument was the questionnaire on the elements of the teacher ethical conduct in seven aspects consisting of honesty, patience, sacrifice, discipline, harmony, justice and compassion. A congruence index between the statements and the operational definitions ranged from .57-1.00, a t- discrimination value ranged from 6.22-23.30, a r-discrimination value ranged from .34-.76. Validity ranged from .72-99 and a reliability value ranged from .83-.89. The data was analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis.
The research findings were as follows.
1. The ethical conduct of the teachers under Ubon Ratchathani Non-formal and In-formal Education Office consisted of seven elements: honesty, patience, sacrifice, discipline, harmony, justice and compassion. The factor loading of seven elements ranged from .30-.88.
2. A model of the ethical conduct for the teachers under Ubon Ratchathani Non-formal and In-formal Education Office was in line with an empirical data with different indexes as follows: = 282.928, df = 343 p = .992, /df =.825, RMSEA = .000, GFI = .908, AGFI = .891, CFI = 1.000 and CN = 315.
