Abstract:
This research was a survey research. The purposes of research were 1) to study the perceptions of safety in working, employee - supervisor relationship and work happiness 2) to compare of work happiness of employees based on individual characteristics 3) to compare of work happiness of employees based on the perceptions of safety in working 4) to study relationship between employee - supervisor relationship and work happiness of employees 5) to study interaction between perception of safety in working and employee - supervisor relationship affecting to work happiness. The sample consisted of 223 employees in Thainox Stainless Public Company Limited and Mahajak Kyodo Company Limited. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One - way ANOVA, Two - way ANOVA and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The results found that the employees had high level of perception of safety in working, moderate level of employee - supervisor relationship and work happiness. The employees who had difference of sexes, age, level of education and worktime did not have different level of work happiness. The employees who had difference of perception of safety in working had different level of
work happiness at a significant level of .01. Employee - supervisor relationship and work happiness of employees had a positive correlation at a significant level of .01. There was not interaction between perception of safety in working and employee - supervisor relationship affecting to work happiness.
