Abstract:
Since the plastic recycle manufacturing factory in this study has encountered defects in the
operation at 14.07 %, there has been attempts to reduce this problem from time to time. After
collecting and analyzing the data, it was found that the main cause of defective products
originated from the procurement in which statistical quality control was not applied in the process
when materials were received from suppliers.
So, in this research the supply-chained operation references model is used in made-to-order
procurement to reduce defects, minimize the cycle time and cost in the procurement.
After the SCOR-model and quality control was applied in the procurement, the defects
were found only 6.5% of the overall materials in the manufacturing process based on the military
standard 414. Defects from the production were decreased at 6.62 %; the cycle time of the
procurement was reduced to 40.89%; the labor cost was to 14.44%. For waiting time it was
reduced down to 21.77% and the working hour was decreased to 71.42%.
