The feasibility study to use the biomass for an alternative fuel for bituminous coal to reduce the quantity of coal in term of produce the electrical and steam : case study Glow SPP3 Company and Limited
Abstract:
Currently, the fuel prices of gas and oil have to be increased and directly effect to high cost
of fuel. In each of country they have study to reduce the main fuel gas and oil consumption to fuel
coal to product the electricity cause to high consume of fuel coal in the world market. The main
affected to the coal price increase is related with fuel gas and oil also. To reduce the fuel cost in
the study company and avoild the effected from fuel price increase in the world then consider to
reduce the fuel coal consumption by use the biomass for alternative fuel coal by no any effect to
the electricity producing process.
The feasible study of this object found the wood chip suitable to usefor an alternative fuel
to coal than other biomass. By consider in term of price, delivery time, source, heating value and
the quantity in Thailand. This study consider in the main parameters of the boiler which there was
carried out by analyzing and finalizing the information before making the decision and
understanding the possible to use the biomass. As the result from the feasibility study , found the
suitable ratio of the mixing at 20% of biomass have no any effect to the process which if we
calculating the reducing cost of fuel coal reduce the company
