Abstract:
This master project aims to apply the Management Information System (MIS) with
machine maintenance operations in a concrete hollow core manufacturing. A database
management program was then designed and developed in order to remedy current problems such
as tardiness of the operations, accuracy of data, and repeat for the selected company. These
problems used the selected company to have operations longer duration in operations, higher
operation, costs, and low efficiency as well.
After tested phase, the result have shown that using the developed program in real
operations detail the average operation time only 60 minuets whereas the old operation consume
180 minutes on average. This means the duration of consumed activities can be reduced up to
66.7%. Furthermore, information and report provided by the program can be used as a managerial
tool to manage and control the maintenance operation routines as well.
