An Evaluation of the Masters Degree Curriculum in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Faculty of Applied Arts, King Mongkuts University of Technology North Bangkok
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to assess the Masters Degree Program in Industrial and
Organizational Psychology, Faculty of Applied Arts, King Mongkuts University of Technology
North Bangkok. The opinions of lecturers, students, alumni, and supervisors of the alumni were
investigated, using CIPP Model.
The samples of this study included 12 lecturers, 33 current students, 98 alumni, and 54
alumnis supervisors. Four sets of questionnaire were used for the study. Percentage, arithmetic
mean, and standard deviation were employed to analyze the data.
It was found that the content; i.e. objectives and structure of the curriculum, was very
appropriate. The basic factors assessment revealed that most lecturers were guest lecturers who
had more than ten years teaching experience while most current students chose to study Plan B
program. As for the alumni, the study indicated that their job was assigned was direct to what
they had learned. Most said that the teaching media were up-to date and the study rooms were
highly satisfactory.
The assessment of the process showed that the management of the learning and teaching
was appropriate at a high level. As for the evaluation of the products, it was found as a whole that
the alumnis supervisors were satisfied with them at a high level.
