The present performance of the student affairs mangement of the opportunity expansion schools in the Aw Luk district under the supervision of the Krabi primary educational service area
Abstract:
The objectives of the research were to study the present performance of the student affairs management of the schools in the opportunity expansion schools in the Aw Luk District, and to compare the level of performance in managing the students affairs by the teachers of different working experience. The sample of group consisted of 70 teachers and administrators. Questionnaires were used to collect the data. The statistics employed to analyse the collected data included frequency, means, S.D. and F-test.
The results of the study revealed : 1. The level of performance of the schools in managing student affairs according to the teachers was found to be high. The areas of student affairs management were ranked from the highest to the lowest as follows : student enrolment and grouping, health services, and orientation. 2. The teachers and administrators of different working experience had similar opinions about the present performance of the schools in managing the student affairs. However, the opinions of the teachers about student enrolment and grouping and student counseling were found significantly different at the level of 0.01.
