Abstract:
This research presents an electromagnetic simulation by Wave Iterative Method (WIM) and application for microstrip filter circuits analysis. This program is divided into three parts: input, output, and processing part. The input and output parts are displayed by GUI (Graphic User Interface) of MATLAB®. The processing part is based on the incident and reflected wave concept which propagate the alternating between the spectrum domain and the pixel domain. Both domains can calculate the amplitude of wave by using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). This program can present the electric and magnetic field and network parameters of the microstrip filter circuits. The simulated results are
well agreed with the SONNET Lite program version
11.54 and theoretical anticipation.
