Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาศักยภาพและระดับการปฏิบัติงานตามพันธกิจของอาจารย์ประจำตามสัญญา และหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างศักยภาพกับการปฏิบัติงานตามพันธกิจของอาจารย์ประจำตามสัญญามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏในเขตกรุงเทพมหานครโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากอาจารย์ประจำตามสัญญาของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 287 คน ที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่สอนในปีการศึกษา 2550 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และทดสอบไคสแควร์ และสังเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่าศักยภาพของอาจารย์ประจำตามสัญญาด้านการศึกษา ส่วนใหญ่สำเร็จระดับปริญญาโท รองลงมาปริญญาตรี และปริญญาเอก ร้อยละ 92.3, 5.2 และ 1.4 ตามลำดับ รายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน 10,001-15,000 บาท มีประสบการณ์ การทำงานสอนในระดับอุดมศึกษา 2-4 ปี มากที่สุด ส่วนใหญ่มีอายุระหว่าง 25 – 35 ปี มีภาระงานสอน 20-30 ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์ สอน 2-3 รายวิชาต่อภาคการศึกษา ส่วนใหญ่ยังไม่เคยมีประสบการณ์เป็นวิทยากรบรรยายหรือการเป็นที่ปรึกษาวิทยานิพนธ์ และมีโอกาสในการเข้ารับฝึกอบรมหรือสัมมนาอย่างน้อย 1 ครั้งต่อปี ส่วนผลการศึกษาระดับการปฏิบัติงานตามพันธกิจในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยมีการปฏิบัติงานในด้านการเรียนการสอนในระดับมาก รองลงมาคือ ด้านการส่งเสริมศิลปวัฒนธรรม ส่วนด้านการวิจัยและการบริการวิชาการ ยังมีการปฏิบัติงานในระดับน้อย และศักยภาพส่วนบุคคลที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับระดับการปฏิบัติงานตามพันธกิจ คือระดับการศึกษา อายุ การเป็นวิทยากรบรรยาย และการได้รับการฝึกอบรมหรือสัมมนาภายนอกมหาวิทยาลัย ส่วนตัวแปรที่ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับระดับการปฏิบัติงานตามพันธกิจ ได้แก่ รายได้ ประสบการณ์การทำงานสอนในระดับอุดมศึกษา ภาระงานสอน การเป็นที่ปรึกษาวิทยานิพนธ์ การเป็นกรรมการต่างๆ ภายนอกมหาวิทยาลัย และจำนวนรายวิชาที่สอน

Abstract: The objectives of this research were to study the potentiality, performance and the relationships between potentialities of contract lecturers and an action commitment of higher education instructor of Rajabhat Universities in Bangkok Metropolitan. The research sample consisted of 287 contract lecturers who have taught a number and various courses of the academic year A.D. 2007. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation and chisquare test. The findings were as followed: A potentiality of contract lecturers graduated mainly 92.3 percentages were Master degree, while 5.2 percentages were Bachelor degree and 1.4 percentages were Doctoral degree relate to the courses they have taught in various academic year A.D. 2007. The most of them had the two to four years teaching experience in higher education, 20-30 hours a week of teaching workload, 2-3 academic subjects, and their range of income were between 10,000 to 15,000 baht per month. Regarding the training experience points of view, they had been trained related to office management and quality assurance. Most of those contract lecturers had a good opportunity on the job training trained by the Universities and others. A job performance level of contract lecturers towards an action commitment of higher education instructor of Rajabhat Universities in Bangkok Metropolitan points of view founded that they performed in middle level. However, they still satisfied on some criterion, and to consider by an aspect founded that most of them performed in teaching activities, art and cultural encouragement were in a second rank. Again, a research and academic disseminate still less suitability. The relationships of personnel potentiality of contract lecturers and an action commitment of higher education instructor of Rajabhat Universities in Bangkok Metropolitan, founded education, age, an out source expert and on the job training of seminar and workshop. Except these variables which were not relate to the topic were income, teaching experience in higher education, teaching workload, thesis consultant, external committee and a number of academic subject.
