Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to construct a computer-assisted instruction program for
a training on Design and Creation of Web-based Lesson, and to compare the trainees achievement
before and after the training using the constructed program. The subjects of the study were 70
first and second year education students in the 5-year program of Faculty of Education,
Suansunandha Rajabhat University. The training was conducted in the second semester of the academic
year 2007. A group of 40 subjects was tried for finding the efficiency of the lesson, while another
group of 30 was used for experimenting to compare their learning achievement. The data obtained
were analyzed using arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
It was found that the efficiency of the constructed computer-assisted instruction program
for training was 85.06/84.48 which was higher than the set criteria of 80/80. The students
achievement after training with the constructed material was higher than that before the training at
the statistical significance level of .05.
