Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1
)
to construct and evaluate the efficiency of Islamic
history subject lesson plans on the four caliphates by using cooperative learning with Jigsaw
Technique for beginning Islamic students grade 6, 2
)
to compare the students learning
achievement who learned by using cooperative learning with Jigsaw Technique between before
instruction and after instruction, 3
)
to compare the students learning achievement between
instruction by using cooperative learning with Jigsaw Technique and instruction by using general
learning, 4
)
to evaluate the students satisfaction towards instruction by using cooperative learning
with Jigsaw Technique. The samples were simple sampling from beginning Islamic students grade 6
of Ban TabingTingi School amount 44 people in 1

semester of academic year B.E.2556 which
were separated into two groups the experimental group amount 22 people and the Control group
amount 22 people . The data were collected by quasi-experiment form namely the pretest-posttest
control design. The researchs instruments were 1

4 lesson plans for instruction by using
cooperative learning with jigsaw technique and 4 lesson plans for instruction by using general
learning, 2
)
learning achievements test , 3
)
questionnaire form on students satisfaction towards
instruction by the both instructions. The data was analyzed by percentage, means, standard deviation
and dependent t-test.
The results of the research were:
1. The lesson plans for instruction by using in Islamic history on the four caliphates
using cooperative learning with Jigsaw Technique have four lesson plans such as 1

3. The students learning achievement who learned by using cooperative learning with
Jigsaw Technique after instruction was higher than before instruction which was considered
statistically significant of 0.05.
4. The students learning achievement who learned by using general learning after
instruction was higher than before instruction which was considered statistically significant of 0.05.
5. The students learning achievement before instruction by using cooperative learning
with Jigsaw Technique and instruction by using general learning were not different.
6. The students learning achievement after instruction by using cooperative learning
with Jigsaw Technique was higher than after instruction by using general learning which was
considered statistically significant of 0.05.
7. The students satisfaction towards instruction by using cooperative learning with
Jigsaw Technique was the highest level
