The development of a training program model of transformational leader teachers in learning management for teachers in Rajabhat University Educational Regions
Abstract:
The objectives of this study were: (1) to analyze concepts of qualities of transformational leader teachers in learning management, (2) to develop a training program model of transformational leader teachers in learning management for teachers in Rajabhat University Educational Regions and, (3) to evaluate the training program model of transformational leader teachers in learning management for teachers in Rajabhat University Educational Regions. The sampling groups were 357 secondary school teachers for data collection in secondary schools in Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University Educational Region and 30 teachers for experimental group. The study followed these five steps: 1) to analyze data; 2) to make an outline of the training program model; 3) to check the training program model; 4) to implement the training program model; and 5) to evaluate and adjust the training program model. Data analysis was done by document analysis and using percentage, mean, and standard deviation and t-test of Dependent Samples, One-Way Repeated Measures ANOVA and Bonferroni method, qualities evaluation by using rubric scoring. The research results found that : the concepts of qualities of transformational leader teachers in learning management were to show the behaviors that indicate having an enduring understanding about the instruction based on educational reform. These some qualities include the abilities to explain, interpret, apply, analyze have multiple perspectives and understand themselves and others. Six qualities of the transformational leader teachers in learning management had a higher average percentage score after the experimentation than the set criterion, as for the fifth quality that is to understand and empathize others, had the highest average percentage score. The model of training program has the following components: Principle, Objectives, Program evaluation and measurement, Content, Training activities, and Roles of resource persons and trainees. After conducted post-test, it is found that all characteristics of transformational leader teachers in learning management were higher than pre-test of training program at a significant level, which is .01.This research also found that a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of trainees knowledge and understanding about teachers transformational leader teachers in learning management the 0.01 level. In term of satisfaction in the training program model, it is found that trainees had the highest satisfaction level.
