Abstract:
This research were intended to study participation of staff in developing and assuring quality of Krabi Hospital, to study relationship between personal factor and participation of staff in both activities , and to identify problems and obstacles in participation of staff according to their personal factor. The results came from stratified sampling in which personal in each department was divided and sampling separately according to ratio between population and studied subjects. In each department, simple random sampling was employed to acquire 254 studied subjects. The tool used in this study was in the form of questionnaire while the research tools were average, percentage, standard deviation, t-test and F-test.
The result showed that most of the studied subjects were female, between 31-40 years of age, married, holding bachelor degree, working as professional nurse with monthly salary over 20,000 baht, have been working at present place for over 15 years, and mostly working in nursing group. The study result of each aspect showed that all aspect were at intermediate level and could be arranged in level from instrument, devices and facilities, policy and operating method, management of human resource, Quality assurance of the hospital, and human resource development respectively. Once the hypothesis was tested, it was found that personal factor of personnel in Krabi hospital were sex, age, marital status, educational level, position, monthly average income while the department that each person worked affected staff participation in developing and assuring quality of Krabi Hospital significantly at 0.05 level.
