Abstract:
The purposes of this research are to study comparative work performance of employees,
sorted by personal factors, and level of knowledge and understanding concerning organization.
Subjects were 310 employees in Thiensurat Co., Ltd. and the statistical data was analyzed through
percentage, mean, median, t-test and F-test. The results of the study showed that:
1. Gender affected employees work performance by .01, Male employees had higher work
performance than female did by .01 statistically significant level. The work performance of
employees showed no difference due to age, marital status and education.
2. Employees with different knowledge and understanding concerning organization did
not differ in work performance by statistically significant level. Considering by sectors, it was
found that the differences of knowledge and understanding concerning organization in policy and
management sectors, and in product and service sectors did not differ in work performance by
statistically significant level.
