Abstract:
The objectives of this research are 1) to study the level of positive thinking, values in working and services behavior of staff in private hospitals 2) to study the relationship between positive thinking and services behavior of staff in private hospitals 3) to study a relationship between values in working and services behavior of staff in private hospitals, and 4) to predict services behavior of staff in private hospitals with positive thinking and values in working.
The sample group was 321 staff in private hospitals. The instruments for gathering data were questionnaires. The statistics employed for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results were concluded that
1.Four fact of Positive Thinking : Self-confidence, Look at the actual situation and Courage to face problems and Obstacles of staff in private hospitals were high level. And one fact of positive thinking : Emotional self - control was moderate level. The level of values in working and Services Behavior were high level.
2.There was a positive relationship between positive thinking and services behavior of staff in private hospitals at statistical significance level of .01.
3. There was a positive relationship between values in working and services behavior of staff in private hospitals at statistical significance level of .01.
4.Two facets of values in working and one facets of Positive together predicted 65.00 percent of services behavior of staff in private hospitals which can be defined as equation;
Services behavior of staff in private hospitals = 0.414 + 0.574 (Values in working; Internal Value) + 0.171 (Values in working; External Value) + 0.124 (Positive thinking; Courage to face problems and obstacles)
