A comparative analysis of the teaching quality of teachers under The Office of the Basic Education Commission before and after academic status promotion as perceived by stakeholders
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to:1) Study the differences of the teaching quality before and after the academic status promotion of experience teachers as perceived by stakeholder, 2) Study the differences of the teaching quality before and after the academic status promotion of senior experience teachers as perceived by stakeholder, 3) Compare the differences of the teaching quality between experience teachers and senior experience teachers as perceived by stakeholder. The sample group was 960 multi-stage sampling from experience teachers and senior experience teachers under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. The analysis of questionnaire collection descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way MANOVA by SPSS/FW. The results were as follow: 1) The mean score of experience teacherss the teaching quality, consists of 3 aspects: professional abilities, learning and teaching management abilities, personality after the academic status promotion as perceived by experience teachers and subject areas heads was higher than before the academic status promotion at the .05 level of significance. According to the perception by experience teachers and subject areas heads of professional abilities and learning and teaching management abilities before the academic status promotion were no statistically significance differences at the .05 level escape the personality. While, the learning and teaching management abilities and personality after the academic status promotion were no statistically significance differences at the .05 level escape the professional abilities. 2) The mean score of senior experience teacherss the teaching quality, consists of 3 aspects: professional abilities, learning and teaching management abilities, personality after the academic status promotion as perceived by senior experience teachers and subject areas heads was higher than before the academic status promotion at the .05 level of significance. According to the perception by senior experience teachers and subject areas heads of professional abilities and learning and teaching management abilities before the academic status promotion were no statistically significance differences at the .05 level escape the personality. While, the teaching quality of 3 aspects as perceived by senior experience teachers after the academic status promotion was higher than subject areas heads at the .05 level of significance. 3) A comparative teaching quality of experience teachers and senior experience teachers the teaching quality, consists of 3 aspects: professional abilities, learning and teaching management abilities, personality before and after the academic status promotion as perceived by senior experience teachers was higher than experience teachers at the .05 level of significance. According to the perception by subject areas heads the teaching quality of 3 aspects before the academic status promotion and learning and teaching management abilities, personality after the academic status promotion by subject areas heads of senior experience teachers was higher than subject areas heads of experience teachers at the .05 level of significance.
