Abstract:
Purposes : a.To study the opinions of the parents in the inner areas in the elementary schools under the auspices of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration towards the quality of inner areas schools concerning learning-teaching category, personnel category, teaching media category, students activities category, school building and facilities category, services management category and relation between school and community category. b.To study the opinions of the parents in the outer areas in the elementary schools under the auspices of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration towards the quality of outer areas schools concerning learning-teaching category , personnel category, teaching media category, students activities category, school building and facilities category, services management category and relation between school and community category. Research Procedure ; The data information of this study were collected and developed into questionnaires concerning parents opinions towards the quality of the schools. Three hundred and twenty questionnaires were sent to the students parents of the elementary schools under the auspices of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Prathom Suksa Vi, Academic Year 1981. One hundred and sixty questionnaires were return from inner areas school and also one hundred and sixty questionnaires were from outer areas school, which was 100%. The obtained data were analyzed by using percentage, mean and standard deviation. Results 1.Both of parents in inner and outer areas consider that the inner and outer areas schools can manage learning-teaching category in a good level. 2.Parents in inner area consider that the management of personnel category is good in inner areas schools but the parents in outer area consider this category to be moderate. 3.Both of parents in inner and outer areas consider that the inner and outer areas schools can manage teaching media category in a good level. 4.Parents in inner area consider that the management of students activities category is good in inner areas schools but the parents in outer area consider this category to be moderate. 5.Both of parents in inner and outer areas consider that the inner and outer areas schools can manage school building and facilities category in a good level. 6.Both of parents in inner and outer areas consider that the inner and outer areas schools can manage service management category in a good level. 7.Both of parents in inner and outer areas consider moderately that the inner and outer areas schools can manage relation between school and community category.
