Abstract:
To study the characteristic of content and presentation of radio stations on the case of Thailands political conflict during April 2009 by choosing Royal Thai Armys radio stations as the main radio station to study by using information operation of army theory, meaning and important of news, framing, social responsibility theory. Furthermore radio broadcast system has been used as a characteristic of radio news presentation and structure of Thai Army Radio Broadcast system. Scope of this research is during the 13 April to 22 April 2009, 10 days in total. According to the study by analyze content and interview officers working on the related organization, the researcher found that the news presentation of Royal Thai Armys radio did not utilize any special techniques to attract an audience and did not give any opinion of station in any news when presented but refer to others media opinion instead. The main reason of this characteristic came from organization policy factors that present fact, make people understand and decrease conflict but must be neutral. Whereas the organization policy makes presentation limited.
