Abstract:
The objective of the quasi-experimental was to study the effects of group counseling on the self-care of diabetes. The 37 patients were participated program in 4 steps. Data were collected by questionnaire about and blood sugar record. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, standard deviation and paired sample t-test. It was found the posttest outcome revealed that diabetes have food consumption behavior, exercise behavior, drug consumption behavior and blood sugar level at high level more than pretest at statistically significance level of 0.01
