Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to evaluate curriculum of Thai Language for Prathomsuksa 4-6 at Christasongkroh School. The evaluation covered four main areas, namely the context, factors involved, process and product. Questionnaires were used as the instrument to collect data from five target groups: an administrator, committee of Thai language, Thai language teachers, students parents, and students. Samplin were carried out using purposive random and Taro Yamane.
The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by means of percentage, means and standard deviation. Qualitative data were analyzed using the content analysis. The results showed that in general the four aspects evaluated were rated at the most appropriate level. It was concluded that development of the curriculum of Thai language should emphasized the effort to increase students achievement of Thai language learning.
In addition the students should be taught to read and write correctly according to the principles of Thai language learning and teaching. This could be used as a starting point for the development of Thai language learning as the whole system.
