Abstract: การรับสมัครนักศึกษา เป็นด่านแรกที่นักศึกษาจะต้องติดต่อกับมหาวิทยาลัย หรือสถาบัน การศึกษาและหลายๆ สถาบันการศึกษา ก็มักจะนำระบบคอมพิวเตอร์มาใช้ในการรับสมัคร โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏจันทรเกษมที่เป็นสถาบันการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษา ของรัฐที่เริ่มมีการจัดตั้งศูนย์การศึกษาในหลายๆ ที่ โดยมีการตั้งจุดรับสมัคร ณ ศูนย์การศึกษา แต่ละแห่ง และหลายๆ ครั้งก็ปรากฏว่ามีปัญหาเรื่องการแบ่งเจ้าหน้าที่ไปทำการรับสมัครเมื่อมี การรับสมัครพร้อมๆกันหรือบางศูนย์การศึกษายังตั้งอยู่ในที่ห่างไกลจากกรุงเทพมหานครฯ ซึ่ง ยากลำบากต่อการเดินทาง ระบบการรับสมัครนักศึกษาผ่านทางอินเตอร์เน็ต ก็จะทำให้หมด ปัญหาเรื่องการเดินทาง และเรื่องการจัดเจ้าหน้าที่ไปนั่งรับสมัคร และยังสามารถรายงานจำนวน ผู้สมัครได้ เพื่อให้ผู้สมัครใช้ในการเลือกโปรแกรมที่ต้องการสมัครได้ ทั้งจัดห้องสอบจัดที่นั่งสอบ กรรมการคุมสอบ ประมวลผลคะแนนสอบและประกาศผลสอนได้อย่างถูกต้องโดยใช้เครื่องมือที่ สำคัญ ได้แก่ ส่วนของเว็บบราวเซอร์ ใช้โปรแกรม Macromedia Dreamweaver และโปรแกรม Edit Plus ในการออกแบบและติดต่อฐานข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมภาษาพีเอชพี ( PHP ) ส่วนที่สองได้แก่ ระบบฐานข้อมูล ออกแบบและใช้โปรแกรมฐานข้อมูลมายเอสคิวแอล ( MySql )

Abstract: The first step that the students have to get in contact with universities or academic institutes is the admission process. Computer systems are widely used in this process. Chandrakasem Rajabhat University is one of higher education institutes that have established external campuses in various locations. All campuses have to provide services to students at the same time at their own admission centers. Therefore, additional staffs are required to provide adequate services. Some of these campuses are also located distantly from Bangkok, which requires hours to travel. The introduction of the student admission system via the Internet helps solving the traveling and staff requirement problems. Moreover, the students can check the number of applicants in their interested program so they can make decision accordingly. The system can also schedule the examination rooms and the seats for both students and staffs automatically. The students can then check the examination results from the system via the Internet. The system is mainly composed of two parts. The first part is web pages in PHP format developed using Macromedia Dreamweaver and Edit Plus. The second part is the database system, which is designed and developed using MySQL.
