Abstract:
The purposes of this research were (1) to develop the work empowerment model, using the neo- humanist concept, for teachers learner-centered learning management abilities; (2) to study the work empowerment model implementation result; and (3) to study the work empowerment model implemental affecting factors. The 60 teachers, 30 were in the experimental group and 30 were in the controlled group, from the lower secondary school under Bangkok Educational Service Area were the research samples. The research procedures consisted of 3 steps, develop the work empowerment model for teachers learner-centered learning management using the neo- humanist concept, implement a work empowerment model and study the work empowerment model implemental affecting factors. The research results were as follows: 1. The developed work empowerment model, using the neo-humanist concept, for teachers learner-centered learning management abilities were consisted of 5 processes (1) the principle setting, (2) the objective setting, (3) the content structure setting, (4) the process-(4.1) relaxing climate creation; (4.2) self-awareness enhancement; (4.3) enhancement of knowledge, skill and experience; and (4.4) express enhancement of knowledge, skill and experience- and (5) the evaluation. 2. The model implementation result indicated that the teachers learner-centered learning management abilities of the experimental teachers group was significantly higher than before experiment at .01 level and significantly higher than the controlled group at .01 level. Furthermore, it reported that the participants satisfaction to the developed work empowerment model, using the Neo- humanist concept, for teachers learner-centered learning management were very high level. 3. The affecting factors to the implementation of the developed work empowerment model were (1) the participants group, (2) the facilitator, (3) the learning activities, (4) learning media, and (5) the learning environment.
