Abstract:
The objectives of this research are 1) to study the level of happiness at work of employees 2) to study the level of positive thinking 3) to compare happiness at work of employees classified by personal characteristics 4) to study relationships between positive thinking and happiness at work of employees 5) to predict happiness at work of employees with positive thinking. The samples group were 382 employees of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited and Provincial Electricity Authority. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results revealed that 1) level of happiness at work of employees were high 2) level of positive thinking were high 3) Employees with different personal factors : age and work experience had different happiness at work with a statistical significance at the .01 level. Employees with different personal factors : gender and income per month did not have different happiness at work. 4) There was a positive relationship between positive thinking and happiness at work of employees with a statistical significance at the .01 level. 5) Effective problem solving, determination and optimism to predict happiness at work of employees account for 32.70 percent with a statistical significance at the .01 level.
