Abstract:
The purposes of this research were (1) to study the meaning, the factors and how to create a
happiness at work of the employees (2) to compared, find correlations predict the regression
equation and study casual factors influence a happiness at work of the employees from working
environment, job satisfaction and body movements variables. 3) to compared happiness at work
of the employees before and after studying with performance monitoring. 4) to compared
happiness at work of the employees before and after studying with movement on the job.
The study was divided into four phases. The sample consisted of employees in the automotive
industry and automotive parts in Bangkok and boundary area. The research methods, phase 1 was
study the meaning, the factors and how to create a happiness at work of the employees with in-depth
interview. Data were analyzed by analysis of the content as defined in the scope of the study and
check the data triangulation. The sample group were the sampling 22 employees from
convenience sampling and purposive sampling. Phase 2 was to compared, find correlations predict
the regression equation and study casual factors influence a happiness at work of the employees.
This phase was survey research. The data collected by questionnaires consist of personal factors,
working environment, job satisfaction, body movement and happiness at work. The sample group
were 360 employees from multi-stage random sampling. Data were analyzed by percentage,
mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, Pearsons product moment, correlation, linear regression
and path analysis. Phase 3, studied how to increase the happiness at work of performance monitoring.
Quasi experimental research to compare happiness at work before and after performance
monitoring. Tested by randomized groups repeated measures design. There are 30 samples group. Phase 4, studied how to increase the happiness at work of movement on the job. Quasi experimental
research to compare happiness at work before and after movement on the job. Tested by pretest
and posttest experimental. There are 11 samples group.
Phase 1 study found that the meaning of happiness at work have been good job, good
organizations, welfare and progress, and good relations. The factors of causing pleasure include
the work as assigned by interpersonal relationships, worker, working environment, benefits and
compensation and jobs. Employees have created the happiness at work by favorite activities,
assigned capacity, the achievement of their goals, build a great friendship, optimistic and set to
goal.
Phase 2 study found that employees have the happiness at work at a high level which
compared the performance of employees by sex, age, education, work and income found
employees who are age different, happiness at work are differ by sex, education, work time and
income have found that employees are happiness at work is no different. Analysis of the
relationship between happiness at work and the factors that affect happiness work was found job
satisfaction and body movements correlated with happiness at work with statistical significance at
0.01. Analysis of the correlation aspect was found movement on the job was correlate with
happiness at work most, secondary was satisfaction of the jobs and movement activities with
statistical significance at 0.01. Prediction variables that can predict the happiness at work of
employees are movement on the job, on the job satisfaction and activities movement. The
prediction equation is happiness at work = 0.841 (movement on the job) + 0.128 (on the job
satisfaction) + 0.095 (activities movement). Variable with a direct effect on happiness at work
highest was body movements, the influence coefficient equal to 0.967. Second was job
satisfaction, the influence coefficient equal to 0.111. Last was job environment, the influence
coefficient equal to 0.035.
Phase 3 study found, before the experiment between the control group and the experimental
group, happiness at work was no different. Compared the happiness at work immediately after
treatment. Employees were happiness at work differ at the statistical significance level at 0.001.
Compared the happiness at work after the first month has passed. The experimental at the
statistical significance level at 0.001. Phase 4 study found, the level of happiness at work after used movement bodies on the job
higher than before experiment at the statistical significance level at 0.05
