Abstract:
The Objectives of this research were 1) to study the expectations of guardians toward the operation of child development centers in local administrative organizations, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province and 2) to compare the expectations of guardians toward the operation having their of child development centers in local administrative organizations, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province by the level of education and the type of local administrative organization The samples used were 385 guardians having their child studying at the child development centers, obtained from stratified random sampling. The tool used to collect the data was a questionnaire with a reliability of .99. Statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Hypotheses were tested by t-test (Independent). The findings were as follows:1) The expectations of guardians toward the operation of child development centers in local administrative organizations, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province as a whole and each aspect were at a high level. The aspect obtained the highest mean was health and sanitary. The lowest mean was community relations.2) The Comparison of the expectations of guardians toward the operation of child development centers in local administrative organization, Phara Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, according to level of education and the type of local administrative organizations found as follows:2.1 Guardians with different educational level having significantly different expectation at the level of .01 overall and in each aspect. The guardians who had an undergraduate degree had higher mean than the guardians who had a bachelors degree.2.2 Guardians having their child studying at different type of local administration organization did not have different expectation in overall aspects. Considering in each aspect, the aspect of teaching and learning and teachers were significant differences at the level of .05.
