The Effectiveness of Reinforcement on the Development of Brushing Teeth Disciplinary Before Bed Time Among Pre-School Children of Early Childhood Development Center in Sungment District, Phrae Province
Abstract:
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of reinforcement on the development of brushing teeth disciplinary before bed time among pre-school children of early childhood development center in Sungment district, Phrae province. The population were divided into two groups. The experimental consisted of 55 pre-school children received dental health education with reinforcement. The comparison group consisted of 62 pre-school children received health education without reinforcement. The instrument was questionnaire constructed by the researcher. Percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test were applied for data analysis. The results was found that the experimental and comparison group had significantly better brushing before bed time disciplinary than before receiving the dental health education with and without reinforcement at .05 level but brushing before bed time disciplinary between experimental group and comparison group were not different (P=0.677)
