Abstract:
This study is about a development of Web-Based Instruction on Computer for Careers
subject by collaborative learning approach using jigsaw technique of vocational certificate level.
The purposes of this study is to develop and to evaluate the efficiency of the developed WBI,
to compare learning achievement of 2 sample groups and to find out the satisfaction of the
students who studied with the developed WBI. The sample group consisted of 80 students of
Chamnong Commercial Vocational College. The sample group was divided into 2 groups
control group, which studied in the conventional approach, and experiment group, which
studied with the developed WBI. The research tools consisted of the developed WBI, pretest,
posttest, exercises, and the satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used in this research were
Mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test
The research results showed that the efficiency of Web-Based Instruction on
Computer for Careers was 81.40/80.00, which was higher than the standard criteria of 80/80.
Furthermore, the comparison between the sample groups revealed that the learning
achievement of the students who studied with the developed Web-Based Instruction was
significantly higher than those who studied with the conventional method at the level of .50.
The students were very satisfied with the developed Web-Based Instruction. In conclusion,
the developed WBI can be for teaching.
