Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to develop computer multimedia lessons of Thai language : word-spelling for Pratomsuksa 1 students, to compare the students learning achievements before and after the multimedia computer lessons were introduced, to compare the learning achievements between the experimental group and controlled group and to study the satisfaction of the students towards the multimedia computer lessons. The students were put into 2 groups ; experimental group and controlled group. Then their achievements were measured by pre-test and post-test designed. The data was analysed by Percentage Mean, Standard Deviation, Efficiency, Efficiency Index and t-test. The results were as follows : 1) The results from 3 times of developing the multimedia computer lessons with the small group of 3 students, the medium group of 9 students and the big group of 15 students. The efficiency of the lessons was equal to 67.78/68.33, 71.98/75.56 and 80.26/82.00 respectively. The efficiency index was equal to 0.34, 0.41 and 0.50 respectively. After the experiment of the multimedia computer lessons were introduced, the efficiency was equal to 80.07/81.00 and the efficiency index was equal to 0.51. 2) The achievements of the students were significantly higher at the level of 0.01 after the multimedia computer lessons were introduced. 3) The achievements of the students after the lessons were introduced in the experimental group were significantly higher than the controlled group at the level of 0.01. 4) The satisfaction of the students towards the multimedia computer lessons was at the highest level both as a whole and in every aspect with the highest satisfaction on the lesson value, to lower by the satisfaction on illustration and language with equal Mean of 4.99. The lowest satisfaction was on the content of the lessons.
