Abstract:
The purposes of the study, The Relationship Between the Five Personality
Types and Team Efficiency of Car Sales Representatives, are 1) to explore
levels of five personality types and team efficiency of car sales representatives,
2) to explore demographic factors and team efficiency, and 3) to explore the
relationship between five personality types and team efficiency
The samples of this study are 166 employees of car sales representatives.
Instruments used in this study are: 1) The Big Five Personality Test, and 2) Team
Efficiency Questionnaire.
Findings of this study reveal:
1. Perceptions of team efficiency do not differ among groups classified
by demographic factors: sex, ages, years of work.
2. The Extraversion Personality and Agreeableness Personality are positively
correlated with Team Efficiency at .01 level of significance.
3. The Openness Personality is negatively correlated with Team Efficiency
at .01 level of significance.
The results of this study could be applied for the recruitment of sales
representatives. Moreover, this study could be a guideline for further
investigation regarding The Big Five Personality and Team Efficiency.
