brochures related to sentence structures, voices, specific terminologies, visual
communication, and topic categories. Thirty-two environmental product brochures,
distributed in 2010 by Eurochem Co., Ltd., were collected to analyze. This study
found that simple sentence and active voice were mostly applied in brochures, as
shown by frequency 57.12% and 76.06% respectively, it was consistence with Janifer
(2011). Specific terminologies that mostly appear were Sludge (37.50%), Effluent
(21.88%), and Reuse (15.63%) according to Burton and Stensel (2004). Photograph

topic followed by Cutaway view diagram (65.63%) and Table (46.88%), they were
mostly found in Specification. Pie graph, area graph, variation graph, and combination
graph were not found in the samples. Also an expert in English was asked to
investigate English usage in the sample for reliability.
