Abstract:
This research project was a study to the Color removal from wastewater of plate developing by
sedimentation. The objective of this research project was study to the suitable coagulant for color
removal from wastewater of plate developing. To study the amount of suitable coagulant for color
removal from wastewater of plate developing and the concentration of wastewater and easy to
treatment, and appropriate condition of rapid mixing by sedimentation. The research project was
conducted by wastewater to determine the absorbance and pH valve, absorbance was 3.562 in the
wavelength range 582 nm and pH 12.7. The suitable cogulant for color removal from wastewater of
plate developing by Ferric Chloride, Ferric Sulfate, Aluminium Sulfate and Ferrouse Sulfate.
Aluminium Sulfate color removal the best result. To study the amount of Aluminium Sulfate for
color removal from wastewater of plate developing on the concentration at 25% 50% and 75% of
100 ml. The results was the wastewater of plate developing on the concentration at 25% 50% using
Aluminium Sulfate 3g. and 5g. respectively, the wastewater of plate developing on the
concentration at 75% was flocculation, but could not sedimentation. The study mixing the
appropriate conditions period of 1, 3 and 5 minutes. The results was 1 minute for concentration 25%
and 50%.
