Abstract:
This research was experimental research. The purposes of research were to construct, to determine
the quality and efficiency of learning management plan on the subject of basic pneumatic and
hydraulic upon competency based curriculum, to compare of learning achievement between using
competency based curriculum learning and using normal curriculum learning, and to determine the
satisfaction level of students that studies with management plan on the subject of basic pneumatic
and hydraulic upon competency based curriculum learning. The research samples consists of 114
students of vocational certificate level in Mahasarakham Technical College and Nong Han
Industrial and Community Education College. The students were divided into groups of the subject
of basic pneumatic and hydraulic upon competency based curriculum learning and Normal learning
for 57 students in each group by using purposive sampling. The research instruments were as
follows: 18 learning units of the subject of basic pneumatic and hydraulic upon competency based
curriculum and normal curriculum with 72 hours of learning time; theory learning achievement test
by using multiple choices of 180 problems with 0.20 - 0.70 of discrimination and 0.99 of reliability
of the test; practice achievement test by using 6 job sheets and satisfaction questionnaires of
students in subject of basic pneumatic and hydraulic upon competency based curriculum. The
statistic used for analyzing data were mean, standard deviation and t-test,
The results found as follows:
1.The quality of learning management plan on the subject of basic pneumatic and
-hydraulic upon competency based curriculum was good level (X=4.40, S.D=0.54)
2. Efficiency of the learning management plan tested in Mahasarakham Technical College
and Nong Han Industrial and Community Education College were 82.08/80.25 and 80.99/80.36,
respectively. The results showed that efficiency were higher than the settling standard criterion of
80/80. Therefore, the learning management plan on the subject of basic pneumatic and hydraulic
upon competency based curriculum was able to utilize for teaching.
3. Students learning achievement in subject of basic pneumatic and hydraulic upon
competency based curriculum learning and normal learning showed results as follows: In theory,
students in group of competency based curriculum learning and normal learning had the average
point at 154.96 and 137.18, respectively form score 180. In practice, they had the average point at
107.26 and 76.90, respectively form score 120. Students who had learn by competency based
curriculum learning had higher learning achievement than students who had learn by normal
learning which statistical difference at significant level 0.05.
4. In overall aspect of the satisfaction level of students in the competency based curriculum
learning and normal curriculum learning was in the high level (X= 4.34, S.D = 0.06) and (X=3.81,
S.D = 0.19), respectively.
