Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and compare the administrators authority
by administrator and teachers opinions of private school in Rayong Province separated by
position, working experience and school sizes. The population used in this research were 300
administrators and teachers in private school in Rayong Province, 2010. The instruments used in
this research were the rating scale questionnaire of 5 level with 56 items and reliability of .99.
The statistics used for analyzing the data were percentage, mean (X ), standard deviation (S.D.),
t test and One - way ANOVA.
The results of the study were as follows : 1) The administrators authority according to
administrators and teachers opinions of private school in Rayong Province for overall and for
each aspects were high. These aspects sets orderly from high to low opinions level refer to
referent Power, information Power and Expert Power. 2) The administrators power of private
school in Rayong classified by working position for the overall wasnt statistically significant
difference but consider as found that the Reward Power was statistically significant difference at
.05 classified by working experience for the overall wasnt statistically significant classified by
school size overall wasnt statistically significant difference, but consider as found that referent
power, legitimate power and reward power was statistically significant difference at .05.
