Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาบุคลิกภาพของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในสังกัด สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาจันทบุรี 2) ศึกษาประสิทธิผลการบริหารและการจัดการศึกษา ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาจันทบุรี 3) เปรียบเทียบประสิทธิผล การบริหารและการจัดการศึกษาของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาที่มีบุคลิกภาพแตกต่างกัน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาจันทบุรี จำนวน 144 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบวัดบุคลิกภาพมาตรฐาน MPI (Maudsley Personality Inventory) และแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับประสิทธิผลการบริหาร และการจัดการศึกษา เป็ นแบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.96 การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำหรับวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางสังคมศาสตร์ สถิติที่ใช้ ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ การหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์ ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One – Way ANOVA) การทดสอบค่าเฉลี่ยแตกต่างรายคู่ด้วยวิธีการ ของเชฟเฟ่ (Scheffe’) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาที่เป็ นกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีบุคลิกภาพแบบเก็บตัว อย่างมั่นคงร้อยละ 37.50 แบบเก็บตัวอย่างหวั่นไหวร้อยละ 4.17 แบบเปิ ดเผยอย่างมั่นคงร้อยละ 44.44 และแบบเปิดเผยอย่างหวั่นไหวร้อยละ 13.89 2) ประสิทธิผลการบริหารและการจัดการศึกษาโดยรวม ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เรียงตามค่าเฉลี่ยจากมากไปหาน้อย คือ ความสามารถในการพัฒนานักเรียนให้มีเจตคติทางบวก ความสามารถในการปรับเปลี่ยนและ พัฒนาสถานศึกษา ความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาในสถานศึกษา และความสามารถในการผลิตนักเรียนให้มีผลสัมฤทธ์ิทางการเรียนสูง ตามลำดับ 3) ประสิทธิผลการบริหารและการจัดการศึกษา โดยภาพรวมของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาที่มีบุคลิกภาพต่างกัน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ 0.01

Abstract: The purposes of this research were to 1) study the personality of the school administration under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2) study the effectiveness of the school administration under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 3) compare the effectiveness of the school administration under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area. The samples were 144 school administrators under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area. The research instruments, the Maudsley Personality Inventory (MPI) and the rating scale questionnaire with the reliabilities of 0.96, were administered to gather the data. The statistical techniques used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and One-Way ANOVA. Scheffe’s method was also employed by using the Statistical Package for Social Science. The results of the study were as follows: 1) The personality of the school administrators who were samples consisted of 37.50 % Stable Introverts, 4.17 % Unstable Introverts, 44.44 % Stable Extroverts and 13.89 % Unstable Extroverts, respectively. 2) The effectiveness of the educational administration of the school administrators in the whole image was at the high level. The highest mean score of the effectiveness of the educational administration of the school administrators was the ability to encourage students on positive attitude. The second was the ability to adapt and develop school. The third was the ability to solve problem in school and the fourth was the ability to generate the students to high learning achievements. 3) The effectiveness of the educational administration of the school administrators with different personality showed significant difference at level 0.01.
