Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) study the personality of the school
administration under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2) study the
effectiveness of the school administration under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service
Area 3) compare the effectiveness of the school administration under the Office of Chanthaburi
Educational Service Area. The samples were 144 school administrators under the Office of
Chanthaburi Educational Service Area. The research instruments, the Maudsley Personality
Inventory (MPI) and the rating scale questionnaire with the reliabilities of 0.96, were administered
to gather the data. The statistical techniques used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard
deviation and One-Way ANOVA. Scheffes method was also employed by using the Statistical
Package for Social Science.
The results of the study were as follows: 1) The personality of the school administrators
who were samples consisted of 37.50 % Stable Introverts, 4.17 % Unstable Introverts, 44.44 %
Stable Extroverts and 13.89 % Unstable Extroverts, respectively. 2) The effectiveness of the
educational administration of the school administrators in the whole image was at the high level.
The highest mean score of the effectiveness of the educational administration of the school
administrators was the ability to encourage students on positive attitude. The second was the ability
to adapt and develop school. The third was the ability to solve problem in school and the fourth was
the ability to generate the students to high learning achievements. 3) The effectiveness of the
educational administration of the school administrators with different personality showed significant difference at level 0.01.
