Relationships between work values of supervisors from the viewpoint of salespersons and organizational loyalty: a case study of salespersons in Hafele (Thailand) Limited
Abstract:
The purposes of this study are 1) to study the level of work values of supervisors from the viewpoint of salespersons 2) to study the level of organizational loyalty of salespersons 3) to compare the organizational loyalty of salespersons classified by their personal data, and 4) to study the relationships between work values of supervisors from the viewpoint of salespersons and organizational loyalty. The research sample comprised of 217 salespersons of Hafele (Thailand) Limited who sales companys product in Bangkok and perimeter. Questionnaires were used for data collection. The statistics employed for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA and Pearson Products Moment Correlation Coefficient.
The results of this research indicated that 1) the salespersons had a high level of work values of supervisors from the viewpoint of salespersons 2) the salespersons had a high level of organizational loyalty 3) the salespersons with different educational level, working experience, average income per month and working section had different organizational loyalty levels with statistically significant level of .01, but the salespersons with different gender, age and marital status did not have different organizational loyalty, and 4) there were a positive relationship between work values of supervisors from the viewpoint of salespersons and organizational loyalty with statistically significant level of .01.
