Abstract:
This research aims to investigate the variables which affect the acceptance of computer technology
of Islamic religion teachers in the compulsory fundamental education (Fardu Ain referring to
elementary to junior high school level). In this study, the samples obtained from Stratified Random
Sampling were 221 teachers of Islamic religion from 21 test units in Bangkok, Thailand. The
collected data were done by using questionnaire and were then analyzed by frequency, percentage,
Pearson's Product Moment Correlation, Chi-square, and Multiple Linear Regression to find out the
relationship between each factor and the acceptance of using computer technology of Islamic
religion teachers. The results of statistical analyses show that these factors, including educational
qualification, experience in using computers, organization culture, perceptions of using computers
for management, learning and teaching, and others, were statistically significant associations at the
.05 level of significance (p < .05).
