Abstract: การวิจัยเรื่อง เรื่องระดับความเครียดของพนักงานในอุตสาหกรรมเคื่องนอน: ศึกษาเฉพาะกรณีบริษัทโอเรียลเต็ลแมทเทรส อินดัสตรี จำกัด มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความเครียดและปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อระดับความเครียดของพนักงานฯ ใช้วิธีการศึกษาเชิงปริมาณ ใช้แบบสอบถามเพื่อวัดกลุ่มพนักงานฝ่ายผลิตของบริษัทโอเรียลเต็ลแมทเทรส อินดัสตรี จำกัด จำนวน 130 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ปัจจัยด้านองค์การในภาพรวมประชากรมีความคิดเห็นในระดับค่อนข้างสูง เมื่อพิจราณาในแต่ละด้านพบว่า มีความคิดเห็นในระดับค่อนข้างสูง 4 ด้าน และระดับค่อนข้างต่ำ 1 ด้าน ความคิดเห็นที่อยู่ระดับค่อนข้างสูงถึงวูงมากคือ ด้านโครงสร้างและบรรยากาศขององค์การ ซึ่งมากกว่าด้านบทบาทและหน้าที่ ด้านตัวงาน และด้านสัมพันธภาพกับบุคคลอื่นในการปฏิบัติงาน ส่วนด้านความสำเร็จและความก้าวหน้าในงาน ประชากรมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับต่ำ ในการศึกษาระดับความเครียดในการปฏิบัติงานพบว่า ประชากรมีอาการแสดงออกหรือมีความรู้สึกที่ปรากฏความเครียดอยู่ในระดับค่อนข้างสูง 5 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ 1)หลับยากหรือหลับไม่สนิทคิดมากหรือกังวล 2)เสียงสั่นปากสั่นหรือมือสั่นเวลาไม่พอใจเพื่อนร่วมงาน หรือเมื่อโดนผู้บังคับบัญชาตักเตือน 3) รู้สึกหงุดหงิดรำคาญใจกับคนรอบข้าง และรู้สึกเหนื่อยไม่อยากไปทำงาน 4)ประสาทตรึงเครียดต้องทำงานช้าๆ เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าถูกต้องและ 5)มึนงงหรือเวียนศรีษะซึ่งทั้ง 5 ข้อนี้แสดงให้เห็นว่าประชากรมีระดับความเครียดสูงกว่าปกติปานกลาง อาจเนื่องมาจากได้รับความเดือดร้อนอย่างมากจากปัญหาทางอารมณ์ที่เกิดจากปัญหาความชัดแย้ง หรือวิกฤติการณ์ในชีวิต เมื่อทำการทดสอบสมมติฐาน พบว่า อายุ สถานะทางเศรษฐกิจ และความจำเป็นในการใช้จ่ายในครอบครัวในแต่ละเดือนเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อระดับความเครียดของพนักงานฯส่วนปัจจัยด้านองค์การทั้ง 5 ด้าน ไม่มีผลต่อความเครียดของพนักงานบริษัทโอเรียลเต็ลแมทเทรสอินดัสตรี จำกัด

Abstract: The research on Stress Levels of Employees in Mattress Industry: A Case Study of Oriental Mattress Industry Company Limited has objectives to study the stress levels and factors influencing on the stress levels of employees in mattress industry. The methodology employed in this research is a quantitative method. A questionnaire is designed to survey a focus group of 130 manufacturing employees of Oriental Mattress Industry Company Limited. According to the findings, it reveals that in terms of the organizational factors as a whole picture, the sampling group is ranked in a rather high level. In consideration of each individual aspect, it is found that there are four factors gained a rather high level while the remaining one gained a low level. The factor ranked in higher to highest level is structure and atmosphere of organization which is mach more than other factors such as role and responsibility. Job and task, and relationship with other people. In case of the success and career path, it is ranked in a low level. Upon study of the stress levels revels related to work performance, it demonstrates that the sampling group expresses their tension or feels stressed in a rather high level. The top five symptoms are 1) being difficult to fall asleep or unable to get deep sleep due to worry and anxiety, 2) having trembling voice, hand or mouth shaking upon dissatisfaction with colleagues or upon being warned by their superiors, 3) feeling frustrated or annoyed with surrounding people and feeling tired or reluctant to go to work, 4) being nervous or going slow on work to ascertain its accuracy and 5) being confused or having a headache. All these five factors show that the sampling group suffers above- average stress which is probably owing to possession of extreme emotional trouble resulted from conflict or life crisis. According to hypothesis testing, it reveals that age, economic status and necessity to spend on monthly household expenses have significant influence on the stress levels of employees. Regarding the other five facets of organizational factors, they have no effect on stress levels of employees in Oriental Mattress Industry Company Limited. I
