The Comparative Study on Learning Achievement in Physics on Work and Energy by using the 4MAT Model Instruction and by using the Conventional Instruction of Students Level 4 Kumuang Wittaya School Nongbuadaeng District Chaiyaphum Province.
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to compare the learning achievement in Physics onwork and energy of students level 4 Kumuang Wittaya School, Nongbuadaeng District,
Chaiyaphum Province, who study the 4MAT Model Instruction and by using the ConventionalInstruction. The samples were Mattayomsuksa 4 Kumuang Wittaya School, NongbuadaengDistrict, Chaiyaphum Province, the academic 2007. The samples were selected by using simplerandom sampling into two groups ; experimental group and controlled group, each groupcontained 32 students. Used research model of test ; controlled group and posttest-only controlgroup design. The instruments of the study consisted of ; 1) the construct lesson plan base on4MAT model and construct lesson plan base on conventional, 2) the students achievement test,and 3) the students opinions test. The data were analyzed by using the difference in statistic of S.D. and t-Test of complete computer program. The results of the study were as follows
To compare the learning achievement in Physics on work and energy of students level 4who study the 4MAT model instruction and by using the conventional instruction of experimentalgroup and controlled group. The results of the study were as follows ; 1) the learningachievement of experimental group was significantly higher than the controlled group at the levelof 0.01, and 2) the opinion of students to construct lesson of the experimental group wassignificantly higher than the controlled group at the level of 0.05.
